Qimora

It draws the homework with your child.

A maths tutor for P3 to P6. Your child snaps a word problem, and a teacher's voice and a whiteboard build the Singapore bar model with them, stopping to ask them at every step. It doesn't hand over the answer.

Ali has 3 times as many marbles as Ben. They have 48 marbles altogether. How many marbles does Ben have?

Ben Ali 48 ? 4 units = 48 1 unit = 48 ÷ 4 = 12 Ben has 12 marbles.

How a lesson goes

About five to ten minutes per problem. Your child can answer by voice or by typing.

  1. Snap the question

A photo of the worksheet, a PDF, or the question typed in.

  2. The teacher reads it

Out loud, highlighting the numbers that matter.

  3. Your child builds the bars

Who has more, how many units, where the total goes.

  4. They answer each step

Wrong answers get a hint and another try, never the answer.

  5. You see the progress

Which kinds of problem are getting easier, and which need practice.

Every number is checked

Code checks the bar model against the question, and two separate solutions must agree before any number is shown.

Made for P3 to P6

Twenty kinds of problem, from "3 times as many" to before-and-after and ratio changes.

Kept small and private

We keep a nickname and progress. Never photos, voice recordings or your child's full name. What we store.

Watch it teach

Real lessons, drawn by the tutor. Recorded on our hackathon build, before the move to Claude.

The slides

The pitch deck from our hackathon entry, where Qimora started: why we built it and how it works, in ten slides.

Documents

For parents: what the tutor does with your child's data, and how well it works.

Where it started

Qimora began as the Bar Model Tutor, our entry to the Meta Global AI Developer Hackathon in November 2026, built on Meta's AI models. The videos and slides above were made for it. The app now runs on Claude by Anthropic. These documents describe the hackathon build.
